1st June 1977 Joined Houseman Ltd, Water Treatment Specialists as a Trainee Service Engineer. Progressed through direct sales positions into Regional Sales Management in the Central South of England in 1984, General Sales Manager in 1987, and progressed to National Sales Manager in January 1994.Promoted to Business Development Director in June 1997 after the company was acquired by Degremont SA. Promoted to Vice President Technical in the newly formed Aquazur Division of Degremont in 1998. In June 1999 left to join Halox Technologies inc of Bridgeport, CT, USA as International Sales Manager. Was promoted to Vice president Sales and Marketing in January 2000. Working with venture capital funding to build the company which was subsequently acquired by IDEX Corporation of Chicago, IL in 2002.
In June 2004 joined Waterchem Ltd, of Worcester, UK as Technical Director, also responsible for sales and profit in the south of England, and worked to build the company from sales of £1.4m pa and break even to £8.2m in 2010 with a profit of £1.45m. Was also responsible for new product development in the company and introduced successful, novel chemical product lines.
Jeremy Pelczer – Adviser to the Board
Jeremy Pelczer is Chairman of Agua Via Ltd, Chair of UK based SES Water owned jointly by Sumitomo and Osaka Gas and was previously Chair of charity WaterAid International (2010-2016). Jeremy has over 20 years of extensive experience in strategic acquisitions, operations management, finance, and accounting with a variety of companies headquartered in the United Kingdom.
Jeremy spent ten years (1996 – 2006) with Thames Water. He joined Thames Water Plc as Financial Controller in 1996, and was appointed Managing Director of International Operations in 1999. In this role he oversaw considerable growth in the business, such as the acquisition of the Elizabethtown Water Company in New Jersey where he also served as Chairman until 2000. In 2001 he was promoted to Board level as Chief Operating Officer of RWE Thames Water Plc, with responsibility for business performance and leading the restructuring of the business into regions with the goal of getting closer to customers.
Jeremy was appointed President of American Water, which had annual revenues of £1.5 billion, and its Board in September 2003. He became President and CEO of in February 2004. As President and CEO, he was responsible for further developing the company’s team-based, high performance culture to deliver results for customers, employees, and stakeholders. In November 2005 RWE announced the separate sale of both Thames and American Water. Jeremy stayed as CEO of American Water until December 2005 and was its Chairman from January to May 2006. He became CEO of Thames Water in November 2005 and continued in that role until the sale of the company in December 2006.
AL SAYED – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
One of the Founders of IWS and crucial to the development of XZIOX.
With over 20 years in the water disinfection market, Al has extensive experience in domestic and international markets. In particular, he has also developed and expanded many of the UK sectors that IWS are currently supplying to. His experience and knowledge of XZIOX has led to successful R&D, expanding the product’s applications to a vast number of industries from poultry, to hospital disinfection. This has enabled Al to execute successful field trials, proving concept to world-renowned names across various industries and leading to the acquisition of well-established clients.
TERRI-ANN BOYLE – DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Terri-Ann has been crucial in the development of building strategic partnerships within the UK and abroad. She has also represented IWS in many forums throughout the globe. Her expertise in the agricultural sector has given IWS a significant advantage. Due to this, IWS are now arguably one of the top solution-providers surrounding the water issue for agricultural development.
Terri-Ann has also taken the lead in advances for approvals for IWS products globally, paving the way for successful approvals by DWI (Drinking Water Inspectorate), NSF, DEFRA, Soil Association and more recently, the Biocide Directive for XZIOX. This has been crucial in the development and expansion of applications for IWS, particularly in Europe.
ALAN DAVIS – COMPANY SECRETARY
With a career spanning almost 50 years Alan Davis has worked his way up the corporate ladder from Salesman to Director. His contribution to the success of Wang Limited in the UK was down to his ability to manage and motivate people, which caused him to rise rapidly through the company hierarchy . This allowed him to acquire the various necessary skills to work in a position of influence and management to push the companies he has worked at further in terms of growth and expansion through corporate transition.
