MICHAEL HUNTER (BSc) – TECHNICAL DIRECTOR


– Deputy Chairman Water Management Society 2011(Chairman elect)
– Member of the LCA Council and co author of the standards documents in 2010

1st June 1977 Joined Houseman Ltd, Water Treatment Specialists as a Trainee Service Engineer. Progressed through direct sales positions into Regional Sales Management in the Central South of England in 1984, General Sales Manager in 1987, and progressed to National Sales Manager in January 1994.Promoted to Business Development Director in June 1997 after the company was acquired by Degremont SA. Promoted to Vice President Technical in the newly formed Aquazur Division of Degremont in 1998. In June 1999 left to join Halox Technologies inc of Bridgeport, CT, USA as International Sales Manager. Was promoted to Vice president Sales and Marketing in January 2000. Working with venture capital funding to build the company which was subsequently acquired by IDEX Corporation of Chicago, IL in 2002.

In June 2004 joined Waterchem Ltd, of Worcester, UK as Technical Director, also responsible for sales and profit in the south of England, and worked to build the company from sales of £1.4m pa and break even to £8.2m in 2010 with a profit of £1.45m. Was also responsible for new product development in the company and introduced successful, novel chemical product lines.

Executive Management member to several market-leading global technology companies in Computational Intelligence, Biomimetics, Interactive Gaming and Behavioral Engineering over the past 20 years. Utilise a broad experience in behavioural engineering to help organisations develop successful present and future-ready innovations and market-ready solutions, driving high revenue generation and strong market penetration through strong go-to-market strategies and network. A number of executive and non-executive contract roles, ranging from Founder and CEO of e-Merge Technology Group, Head of Consumer Loyalty for Barclays Group, Global Director of Presales and Strategy for Velti, Board Advisor & Global EVP Strategic Partnerships for MPayMe and Powa Technology (Post acquisition of MPayMe by Powa in 2014), and most recently as Executive Director and CEO of ASIO Ltd t/a Chirp up until November 2017. Moran is also a senior adviser to the boards of both a number of start up and market leading multinationals worldwide. Moran is a competent strategist capable of developing innovative plans and activities designed to facilitate competitive growth and competitive superiority. Passionate about ensuring the achievement of demanding targets and business objectives while focusing on increasing turnover and maximising profitability. TERRI-ANN BOYLE – DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS


Terri-Ann has extensive knowledge in the water treatment industry and has made herself an invaluable asset to the growth of IWS.

Starting in the livestock industry, Terri-Ann successfully built a team to introduce IWS products and services into the poultry industry and soon become well known. Due to her initial hard work and dedication, the existing livestock team are able to take the business to the next stage.

Terri-Ann has since transferred her skill sets to the Agricultural crop growing industry and has had the same success. Not only improving customer understanding but assisting in increasing production for many customers.

She is highly regarded by organisations that IWS deal with like DEFRA and NSF to name a few as she has been instrumental in the company’s global approval strategy.

In the last five years Terri-Ann has been involved in opening new markets and partners internationally and has a very determined approach to each project she undertakes.

An effective, dynamic and Commercial Finance Director with a proven track record of increasing sales, profitability and efficiency. An excellent communicator. Very hands on and highly into the detail of management accounts, forecasts and cash flow projections. Very experienced and competent in dealing with major customers, suppliers and banks. Wide-ranging experience in dealing with the venture capital and private equity sectors. Extensive experience, as a member of a number of boards, in developing and implementing corporate strategies. Outstanding IT and systems knowledge.

ALAN DAVIS – COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR


With a career spanning almost 50 years Alan Davis has worked his way up the corporate ladder from Salesman to Director. His contribution to the success of Wang Limited in the UK was down to his ability to manage and motivate people, which caused him to rise rapidly through the company hierarchy . This allowed him to acquire the various necessary skills to work in a position of influence and management to push the companies he has worked at further in terms of growth and expansion through corporate transition.
