WHAT IS BIO-MAX RTU?
A powerful bactericide BIOMAX® RTU is able to reduce and eliminate harmful pathogens. BIOMAX® RTU forms a stabilised high purity solution at 0.35% (3500 ppm) in spray water and is effective, against all forms of bacteria which in turn can help with fungal pathogens and eradicates Powdery Mildew, Phytophthora and other problems.
- DOES NOT LEAVE ANY RESIDUAL BY-PRODUCTS ON OR IN THE PLANT TISSUE
- PLANT PATHOGENS DO NOT BECOME RESISTANT
- COMPATIBLE WITH EXISTING SPRAY PLANS AND CAN BE USED WITH EXISTING CHEMICALLY BASED PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCTS
- ELIMINATES ALL WATER AND AIR BORNE PATHOGENS DURING SPRAYING
- NO HARVEST INTERVAL REQUIRED
PLANT PROTECTION SPRAY PRACTICES HAVE A TREMENDOUS EFFECT ON THE QUALITY OF PRODUCE AT HARVEST AND FOR IMPROVED POST-HARVEST SHELF LIFE.
Food safety and quality begins in the field and will be of special concern to the producer.
Harmful pathogens of soil, water or airborne origin wherever produce grows, may come into contact with fruits and vegetables to contaminate them.
BIOMAX® RTU (ready to use) is an eco-friendly product used in the fruit and vegetable industries. It helps to improve protection against diseases such as Downy Mildew, Phytophthora, Botrytis, Scab, Canker and many others by eradicating bacteria within the water source. This in turn improves the performance of existing pesticides, fungicides etc.
Conventional fungal spray programs use several chemicals with different modes of action to prevent the build-up of resistant fungal strains not killed by each chemical. When BIOMAX® RTU is being used as an adjuvant in existing spray plans, customers may minimise their existing treatments and save costs. BIOMAX® is very effective in protecting a variety of crops including grapes, top fruit, soft fruit, salad crops, root vegetables and others by default.
The primary function of BIOMAX® is bacterial control within the water source along with keeping the spray tank free from bacteria and blocked nozzles.
BIOMAX® is not a pesticide.
The Pesticides Safety Directorate (PSD) defines an adjuvant as a substance other than water which is not, in itself, a pesticide but which enhances or is intended to enhance the effectiveness of the pesticide with which it is used. Adjuvants for use with agricultural pesticides have been categorised as extenders, wetting agents, sticking agents and fogging agents.
